forum knives?

How does one know when a new forum knife is available? How/where do you get them. I keep hearing about and seeing, for example, forum edition Spydercos. What's the deal

blue Spyder Hawk
I am the proud owner of a full set.
They will probably not be any more made.The sales of them was all ways alot less than the number of people who posted that they wanted one.

The Camillus EDC in 154CM was a BFC forum knife a couple of years ago. Also, on the Balisong forum last year, there was a special model of the BM 31. I'd like to see another one come down the road.

I did not know about these other companies forum models.That may be why they don't sell well,wouldn't it be good if they were advertized at the top of every forum when they are produced?

First off, there have only been a few forum knives in total.

If it's not on this list, it was not an official BladeForum.com Forums knife, and as such, no money from the sales went to supporting this site.

There have been a few "Forums" variants that have been sold, but they are not official BladeForums.com knives. Just FYI

Nope the spyderhawk was a Spyderco Forum knife.

I'm missing the Military for the Spyderco knives and the BM35-spl.

How about the early Busse basic-9, the red REKAT Carnivore, and the REKAT Pukini?

The Carnivore's & Pikuni's were official as well IIRC. I dunno about the Basic 9's, I think they were just discounted to the members, I don't remember any certificates or serial numbering with them.

Usually if it's official, it will be serial numbered.

ah, thanks for clearing that up. I wish that could be a reoccurring thing....
And I really like that bug on the forum edition Military. I wish spyderco put that on more of their knives.
