We like the knives, of course, but a big reason for this forum`s popularity is Sal himself.

I'll second that, every post of his that I have read he was usually going out of his way to make a customer happy. Way to go Sal, you've got a loyal customer with me!

Just because I talk to myself doesn't mean I'm crazy. What's wrong with getting a second opinion?

Hello one & all,

Well, by all accounts, it looks as if I'll be "thirding" what ghostsix has already said. LOL

Sal Glesser, in as much as I know about him, is indeed "one of the good guys."

It is, sadly so, rather rare these days to have a CEO of a company that is actively involved in all aspects of his company's product, but herein Mr. Glesser is the notable exception.

I, for my part, sincerely appreciate him being the moderator of this forum and lending his insights.

I'll drink to that! I appreciate the time he takes out of his busy schedule to participate in the forums (well, after all he is a knife nut like the rest of us

) Thanks for your time and imparting your knowledge with us.

Dont' forget the Spydie Crew: Danelle, Vince, Joan, et. al. But, ultimately, Sal the Man has to get credit for putting a good crew together and keeping it.

Sal, you are da man!! We truly appreciate your participation. It has solidified my opinion of Spyderco. I sing the company's praises whenever I get the chance. Keep it up! Excellent companies are hard to find these days. Yours, Chris

I gotta admit, Sal seems very down to earth and friendly for the CEO of Spyderco. Very personable and accessible over the net. Kinda like the virtual version of Dave Thomas for Wendy's. Nice guy, good PR.

"Oh, No! They killed Kenny...err...I mean they neglected djo62 (in the first few posts)!"

Danelle Joyce O'Shea,

Well, as that other forumite pointed out...its the ENTIRE Spyderco crew that makes all "our day."

I gotta admit, Spyderco does a good job, both with the hardware and the customer service. The have won me back from BM!!! Keep up the good work. Their site needs just a little work tho.

The Spyderco crew is in large part responsible for the attitude of this forum but so are the Spydernuts that post here. I have seen very little flaming here. Everyone seems to want to share info and learn and have a good time. I send my thanks to everyone involved.

oh ya? well i hate 'um all. every day i get word of some other awsome design or variation i cant live without.

and then...
just when ive talked myself out of the purchce because of some detail i was unsure of one of them gets me the answer, so whats a guy to do? jeez.

i tell you all these guys with nothing bad to say, well i said it. the spidie crew is TOO good.
