Forums slow again?

The forums seem to be running a bit slow again, like a few weeks ago. Anyone else notice, or is my computer getting wacky? I don't seem to have this problem on other forums.
 
very busy forum . Lots going on. Its seemed pretty good today , I do notice sometimes in the exchange if its a hot sale I have problems. Get an error. Then again I'm on dialup. I reload a lot if it seems like its not loading. I honestly have a big appreciation for this forum. I hope they keep it running as well as it is. The archives are pretty amazing. I didn't watch it but a thread from 2008 with 8 mins of blade show footage. maybe not a big deal but seems some might just get rid of that rather than use up the space. This place is priceless.
 
It's running up to speed for me at this time of the evening, normal speed here--fast loading. I'm on FIOS so it is fast just about all the time.
 
I don't think you're seeing things, Carl. I've noticed some 'lag' in processing new posts/edits, myself. And in the last few days, I've even gotten the 'database error' message a few times, in attempting to access the site in the first place.

I know sometimes photo sharing websites slow things down if the page you're viewing has such embedded photos.

Clearing your web browser's cache and cookies is always a good idea when encountering issues and slowness.

You can also try a different web browser: Chrome, Opera, FireFox, Safari and Internet Explorer.
 
I have gotten a few database error messages when posting a reply. But, otherwise the forum has been and is running really well.
