forward cant utility blade w/Cocobolo scales

Here's an edge quenched 4" long 1084 blade from 3/16" stock, triple normalized and tempered. It was a prototype so I picked a plain piece of Cocobolo for the scales. It has a convex edge and the blade was given a bit of a forward cant so I could see how well it worked for this particular pattern. It slices well and does not fatigue the hand when cutting for prolonged periods.

Very nice. I prefer the blade to be polished a little more after the etching, but I sure like the hamon.
