I already posted over there, but I think it is a Cephalopod of some sort.

Could be an Ammonite of some sort as well, depending on the rock.

Nice Find

Tripton is correct. It is a Cephalopod. I am willing to bet is is Cyclendoceras sp.
I found a nice one when I was at Field Camp in Deadwood S. Dakota. I found it in the Whitewood Peak area.
I'll send you a pic when I find one later in the week :D

It's interesting that's for sure.

I have to argue the whole "400 million years" and "13,000 years ago" garbage.

No one knows this for sure. It's pure speculation and "theories"

The reason it was under water was God flooded the earth after he commanded Noah to build the Ark.

Noah's Ark was found in the mountains of Ararat. The Government of Turkey built a visitors center near the site.

Lol, how can you dispute other people's suggestion of a date, and then give your story of Noah's arc. You don't believe in their "speculation and Theories" and called it garbage yet your proof is another speculation. Not everyone believes in the Christian story of how things went, bro. Everyone has their particular version of ancient history depending on which religion you prefer to follow.

To clear up what this thing in the picture is, I'd suggest some actual scientific testing for a real answer.

How is the story of Noahs Ark a Christian story when it happened before Jesus was on the earth?

The Bible is recorded history, weather you choose to believe or not. Millions of years is a theory, as there is no proof as to it having ever happened,....bro.

That's a pretty cool photo...looks like you were waaay up on a clifftop. Must be ancient seabed that was upthrusted a few million decades ago. Or where a velociraptor rode his Huffy over the muddy edge.

Edit: Now that I look at it, it seems it's right at the water's edge. Nice SHSJLE, btw.

I suggest we all agree to disagree on this topic, as it will only derail the original topic.
