The video and the action will start at 8am, Saturday, October 22, 2016. You will be able to watch throughout the day at any time by clicking the link below:

You can also find that link and more info on my site at burtfoster.com. Click on the "Live Event" tab. There's important information there about some cool features available as part of youtube Live Events, as well as the form you'll need to use to place a bid as part of the silent auction for the finished sword. Click this link:

Jason and I will be also working together (off camera) Friday the 21st, and maybe, just maybe, we will have some knives to offer. Those knives will be listed on my website at the close of the live event, and will be available on a first come basis.

as long as the time is EDT and not EST which is stated the countdown from 10 minutes has begun -- a couple minutes ago so hopefully there will be lots of viewers. Be nice if we learn who the folks are that were able to buy a ticket to attend at Burt's shop.

They just broke for lunch. Will be back @ 2:15 EST

Enjoying this, but will miss the end.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of the final blade when I get off the mountain.

We stayed awhile and then headed to the Lakeshore area to visit various artists on an art Tour in the Port Credit. Back in and watching and will pick up where they are at now which is the grinding of the blade prior to handle assembly it would seem. Hope folks are enjoying the session. Am certainly looking forward to the final product.

THAT was fantastic. They finished a magnificent and deadly efficient blade. It will get posted soon enough.

A gift to watch these two masters use their skills and best assets: that was the dialog. ;)

Then they ALSO made a small sword.

Here's a screenshot of them offering closing words.

Well done!

(A tip 'o the hat to the camera people for working to show us EVERYTHING. Super job.)

That was very fun to watch. I didn't realize people did the live feeds, it was great!

I watched a good portion of the feed. It was entertaining and informative. I agree with Coop, camera work was overall very good under difficult conditions. Saw plenty of BF members posting questions and comments in the chat and Burt and Jason were quick to respond. Thanks guys!

Nice format for getting custom knives "out there" for folks to see. I hope and expect we will see more of this type thing.

It was fun watching them work, good stuff.

lovely lovely show. does anyone know what the final price was (ballpark) - maybe PM me? I'm just curious...that's all :)
