I am looking for some information on Foster Knives. In particular this model:
http://www.fosterknives.com/lakec.php
It looks like it would be a great edc. Does anyone have or handled one. The search feature only came up with some fixed blade information.
Thanks All. :)
Dave.

Nobody? Well I guess I will have to order one and see.

I can only tell you that I' ve used the Larry Weishuhn strait knife with good results. Its green canvas micarta with matte finished 154CM makes for a good using knife. Specs indicate 58- 60 rockwell. But I have found that the steel feels quite harder. And it calls for a diamond dust benchstone to get a good edge. I had the micarta slabs rounded a bit and a kydex sheath made up for it. Good using knife at a fair price.

Lake and Walker both have been around a long time. Neither would have their names associated with any product that they did not feel were up to their standards.
