This made my day, so I had to share it with someone ;)

In the process of cleaning out old boxes, and what should I find, but my old 3 line 501 with the Buck (script), 501, USA. Nickel bolsters in a hand made sheath. I have not seen this since my last move 7 years ago and thought it was lost. I'll see if I can't post pictures, later.

Also, anyone know what the bolsters were made of on this knife? It's dark brown in color, looks almost wood grain, with the linen texture. 2 nickel rivets in bolster.

One happy Mainiac :D

Brown linen Micarta???

Or maybe red linen Micarta that has faded??? A lot of the red spacers in 119/120's have faded drastically over the years...

>>Brown linen Micarta

I'll betcha that's it... it's got an interesting almost wood grain when you get the right lighting angle.

Here is an old friend that has worn holes in my pockets over the years but has been a loyal and faithful EDC. It is an ESQUIRE, not a Squire. Bought new by me and has cut anything it was asked to.

I shot one pic to show the texture of the maroon micarta for those not sure what it looks like.

Sure carries well and is, to my mind, just the right size.

Thanks! that is indeed the one... Esquire was the name, I bought mine new as well.

Here are some pictures... lighting was not the best:
