This 112 was found at a family friends house in the back yard... it was given to me and I honestly don't know a damn thing about them. I've had the 110 for a few years that was a gift.

nice find. think it's from 1974-1980 range, but i'll let the experts chime in with more accurate details.

Nice knife, take a look at your photo's you will see your new 112 was before the radius was added to the edges of the knife referred to as a non-radius edge. It's easy to see the 112s squared edge next to your 110s rounded edge.

That's a great knife!
The three large handle pins put it more in the range of 1978-1980.
440c stainless steel and solid Macassar ebony wood handles.

Thanks very much for the replies and info folks! I just cleaned it up, stropped it, and put it on my belt. :) Really love the feel of this one compared to the 110.

Square frame and up grade blade steel. Carry it and use it. I think you'll like it. A piece of Buck history. DM

You could send it to Buck and let them give it the spa treatment. It will come out looking new.

nick, I see those going for 50$ with a sheath at shows. When New in the box with papers,-- more. You could go out to dinner on your savings. DM
