I love scrounging for knives....flea markets, yard sales, and an occasional pawn shop!
Had to pay $100 for the pair, but the Buck has the original brown box and paperwork

Buck 110 Damascus with bone handles, circa 89

Uncle Henry "papa Bear" LB8 , same approx. vintage I'd guess

Nice knives, especially the Buck - put that on the Buck Sub-Forum - someone there will know all about it. OH

Very nice! That Damascus 110 in bone is a stunner! (And I thought I didn't care for lock back hunters.)

That's a great pair of folding hunters you found. Not sure which one I like the best, they are both beauties.

Certainly delrin on the UH, but the 110 looks like bone to me. The 110 is a fabulous find, never seen one before like it.

That's a great find!

Also agree, I'm betting the 110 is likely bone. Don't think I've ever seen or heard of a customized Buck with Delrin; they've usually upgraded with micarta/G10 in synthetics (or wood/resin laminates), and natural materials otherwise. Searching "Buck 110 damascus bone" on Google turns up more examples, roughly same vintage as well (1989-90). Found what looks like a pertinent thread here on BF (Buck sub-forum); see post #8 in that thread, in particlar, which has a Buck catalog pic of similar/identical offerings:

Posting a pic in the Buck sub-forum would likely garner more quality info on it. Also, if the original box is labelled with a model/catalog#, that might shed some light.
