Found a knife in a whall

Few years ago while doing renovations I found a knife in a wall. I cleaned it but I just now took the time to polish the blade.

2 questions. Should I polish the blade more and i am curious, anyone knows the DH on the handle, what does it stand for?

Thx
Nice. Can only answer the first question: maybe some light oil but I'd leave it at that stage

Does it say anything on the other side of the blade? On the tang, the unsharpened section near the pivot.

It's possible that "DH" are a previous owners initials.

It's probably a cursed blade. The OP was never seen again. At least that's what I always think when someone pops in with a question about some random knife and never returns.
