Found a knife in Slovenia?

Hi! I know nothing about knives but I found one in Save Bohinska, a river in slovenia. It’s pretty rusty, the handle is gone, it’s still quite sharp, heavy and the top looks like it was smashed on with something to get through tough material. Looks like a farm implement, sort of like a froe. Interesting find.

Cleaver with stick/rat tail tang.

I've no idea on the maker or age.

The tang suggests a long handle, which in turn suggests an agricultural use for slashing or chopping brush or crops.
