Found a Knife in the Closet

I faintly remember using this knife on a fishing trip over 10 years ago, and I beat the hell out of it back then, but then just lost track of it. Cleaning out my closet, I found it again, riding in its sheath (s which is worn as hell due to using it as a strop). So I decided to sharpen this knife and I find that I like it. I have done some paper cutting tests, and it is super sharp. It's a bit unique because it's a fixed blade but has a really thin blade stock. Not an expensive knife, but nice to find something I haven't seen in over a decade. It seems to be a Japanese knife and says "AUS Knife," so I assume it's some variant of AUS steel.

The Blade writing says "Sashimi cooking knife" in Japanese. But the knife is made by HDF, a South Korean cutlery maker.
Of course that knife comes nowhere near a real Yanagiba sashimi knife. But I guess the maker thought it would look cool.
