Hello gents. I haven't posted in quite a while, but I just had to share some news. Around 7-8 years ago, my Queen Canoe in D2 with Birdseye Maple covers disappeared. I suspected at the time that it had fallen out of my pocket on the couch at my father-in-law's house, but multiple searches of the couch were fruitless. I searched my cars and house multiple times, but, again, no Canoe.

This month, my wife and I moved, and I had hoped that emptying the house would reveal the hiding place of this little knife that I loved so much, but it was not to be. I finally accepted that my little Queen was gone for good.

Yesterday, my son and I were helping my father-in-law move some couches, and when we tilted one, some items dropped at my feet, and you guessed it, my Queen was on the floor of the garage, along with a tiny Imperial two blade and a wooden knife with another son's name engraved on it. Yes, this couch apparently eats knives. And they were all still sharp!

Anyway, I had some happy news, so I wanted to break my long Bladeforums fast, and share it here.

Good day, folks!

Ken

I am very happy for you. Like getting reacquainted with an old friend.

If only my rust red bone 09 Esquire would re-appear ( Lost many years ago ); even though it was replaced due to the generosity of a forum member I wish it would still turn up. I very much suspect that the next patient at my Dr's office got themselves a nice little knife.

I was convinced something similar had happened to my Queen, and I was bummed because they are getting hard to find. Hoping yours shows up!

How far can you trust your doctor?
