I was looking in one of my old tool boxes and found this Victorinox Esquire. I worked at Johnson Matthey back in the 90's. Finding it brought back some good memories.

Yes it is. That was one job I never should have left.

What a great find after all these years. I have lost several old knives that I'd love to see turn up in this fashion.

On some coin sites I've visited, the JM bullion always commands a nice premium.

Very Cool.

It would leave my very PC fortune 500 company Human Resources folks gaping in horror, but it used to be reasonably common for companies to give knives to their employees as gifts.

I worked for a company that bought me an AR15 Pistol for a 5 year gift.....

They used to have drawings for platinum dragon coins at their Christmas party. I never won any.

While in high school my after-school job was in a tool & die shop. I got a knife from them every Christmas. I wonder if they still do that.
