I was in an out of the way gun and knife store over the weekend. They had a display case with about 20 or so Benchmades, mostly common models, Grips, Mini Grips, 710s, Strykers, etc.
Then, I notice a brand new 6150SBK Mini Ruckus Auto.
With the prices the Ruckus knives bring used, I could hardly believe they had this knife sitting the the case all these years. It was priced right too, $229.95, about the same as the Adamas and Stryker Autos they had in stock.
If it had been a satin plain edge knife I would have bought it to keep for myself. Even so, I couldn't pass it up as trade bait. I have a buddy who has about five different Ruckus models, but not a mini auto. I dropped the cash and left with the knife.
I called my buddy and he was stoked. He actually jumped in his car and came to meet me on my way home so he could check it out.
I let him go ahead and take the knife with him in an MLB style "for players to be named later" trade.
