First of all I'm new to the forum.. I've recently been picking up some US made knives, etc as I find them and have started to gain a bit of an interest so I've been browsing the forum a bit. Lots of great info.

After picking up a few things I came across this brand new Snow & Nealley axe for a dirt cheap price and brought it home. My first intention was to work on the edge and break it in camping next Saturday, but before I go beating up on it and taking off the sticker - can anyone tell me if this is a US made S&N, or potential age? I keep reading their newer products are chinese steel?

No markings on the steel, just the stamp on the handle, and the factory sticker. I was guessing this is fairly new given the warning sticker on the blade - but there isn't much data on these anywhere.
Thanks all

Looks like that's what they call a Mini Maul. Here's a thread from early 2009 showing one with a different label, but the head on yours could still have come from China if it was made after 2003.
