I'm so stoked with the deals I got on this. It's going to be an awesome little project knife.

Walked past a bin of used knives. They had a cardboard sign with prices listed and I saw Kershaw and Benchmades for $30 so I went digging. All the way at the bottom I found this well loved Skyline.

I scoped it on google quickly and saw they are $35 on Amazon. It is well worn and it was dull as shit. I told the guy for a few bucks more I could buy one new so he had to do better. I wheeled him down to $20 after complaining about the dullness. Done.

Took it over to the authorized Kershaw dealer and asked him to look over my well worn and much loved Skyline to see if anything needed fixing. He gave it a clean bill of health and it was off to my next stop.

Stopped buy a guy selling a sharpener and was offering free sharpenings to show them off.

Couple minutes later I had moderately worn but razor sharp Skyline for 20 bucks.

I'll tear it down later for a full clean/lube.

Skylines are fairly inexpensive to begin with, so when you get a user at a discount, its even better on the wallet. Good stuff.

The Nation's Gun Show in Dulles.

We got there first thing and it was still packed. By the time we left you couldn't move.

It came apart and went back together super easy.

And after a little elbow grease, brush and CLP:

That's awesome. I love my Skyline and how easy it is to take care of, disassemble/clean, and maintain. The simplicity is why I use it as an EDC.

Congrats on the awesome find. To keep it sharp, I'd recommend a diamond stone. I like my Smith's stones, but DMT is awesome, if you're willing to spend the money. But for CHEAP AND functional, I'd recommend Smith's.

Great find!
I want a skyline, but I'm saving my money for other things at the moment

But my friend has one, and I swear a new one is one of the smoothest flipper knives I've ever seen

That place was a zoo today. As late as 1:00 PM, there was a line around the corner waiting to get in. I've beeen going to these shows for years and I've never seen so many people there.

We got there at 9:30am right after open and the line was just as long. I thought it was just because we got there early and people were still filing it. By 11am you could barely move in there so we left around 11:30-12 ish.

When we left the line was still that long. No idea why it was like that, I'm guessing because the weather was shitty no one had anything better to do.

I was at the same show and got a deal on a ZT 350 . I am also very happy. It sure was crowded as hell. But lunch was real good at Willards BBQ

The only other good deal I saw was a BM Nimravus (sp?) for $100.

I saw plenty of ZT350s but they were all more than the $125 I saw them for a Nova Armament in Herndon a few weeks ago.

Dang, I just looked on their site and they are $150 now.

Well done. Too many people would rather throw used things away and buy new ones, I'd rather have character than more packaging to throw away.

I'm really loving this knife. It's actually making me regret buying Leeks.

I must find the fixed version.
