Found an incredible deal on a Ken Onion Work Sharp!

I went to the local Army Navy store today trying to find an inexpensive fixed blade knife for a friend of mine to give to his son for Christmas. They didn't have anything in his price range, so I thanked the girl for her help and walked out the door. Then I remembered that when the original Work Sharp came out, they were doing in store demos. So, I walked back in and found two of the Ken Onion editions on the shelf priced at $99 plus tax!. They were left over from a promotion they had not long ago, and were trying to move them out. I bought one for myself and I may go back and get the other one this afternoon if it's still there. Glad I walked back in!

All the ones I've seen online sell for no less than $130, so I thought it was a great deal. I'm pretty excited right now! :excitement:

I wish I were able to find that sort of deal! I almost bought the worksharp ken onion last night but the price tag seemed a bit higher then I wanted to commit to, but I found myself spending that money on another knife lol. How are you liking your KO edition so far? I've read a few threads here and mostly people are raving about it with a few impatient people not taking the time to learn the proper way to utilize the machine properly.

I look for to hearing more from people about this machine and it's many uses! Enjoy the great deal and snag the other if you can!
 
Wow I would grab one of those in a heartbeat at that price! Congrats and let me know how you like it as I have been eyeballing them for a while now just kind of waiting for some feedback from actual users. So far I've heard nothing but great things about it and I plan on getting myself one for Christmas just waiting for the right deal to come along.
