Found an Old Beater

Found my old Carbon V in the trunk of my wifes' car. Under the spare tire on the upper deck of the trunk. Her car is a big old 06 Grand Marguis. Cleaning it up now. Smooth coating or whats left of it, and no choil, short ricasso, and nylon sheath with liners. Can't post pics cause of no gold membership. Anyways I have another I use for a truck knife and one I use in the bedroom as a bedside buddy over my .45. You know the knife on top handgun underneath on bottom shelf. keepem sharp

PS nothing better to do on a beautiful Sat. So sharpening and cleaning.
 
Ahh that figures! I am getting to old. Recon Scout. Love these knives and my all time favorite fixed blades. keepem sharp

You dont need a gold membership to post pics.

Use a photo host - imgur for example.

Itll take you but a few minutes to set up an account, upload the Recon Scout pic to imgur and post it here.

You should be able to post pics if you use a photo sharing program like imgur... not that I want to see this thing at all ;). Imgur is free still and is pretty easy to use if you're okay with computers.

Cool. I've done the same. Out for a romp or just leave a back up in the trunk. They bounce around, shift, disappear under whatever. I found a machete in the trunk one spring after nine months maybe. A bit of rust but not that bad.
