I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but a post from 2006 that I thought was too old to revive was posted into this same category:

I believe I found one of these but I can't figure out which particular one it is. The only place that has any information on empire is this website. I bought a storage auction where a former hunter had owned it. I found about 50 knives in this, and some really weird ones. One is the empire in the picture here:

Does anyone know how to figure out which knife this is and what year it was made? There's so little information on it online. The stamp is the same as the knife this person is selling on ebay:

(EDIT) The weird one is an argo knife made in tandil argentina with a hilt made from an armadillo.
