Greetings all,
I hit a local antique shop today that I had not visited in a while and picked this two up for a little less than $15 ($12 for the Jack, $3 for the Old Timer). Both need some clean up and a fair bit of blade regrinding, but on both of them the pivots are tight, springs strong and good snap.
I had not seen a jack knife with scissors this large before (right at 4" handles and probably started life with a 3" blade). It is marked 'RANGER ??OY USA'. The Old Timer 194OT will get reground down to a wharncliffe blade and maybe keep me from ordering one of those cool GEC #55s a little longer.
On a more mundane note, I also found a Victorinox Mechanic and Economy Camper for another $15 at a pawn shop down the street.
Overall not a bad lunch at all.
