Found! Bucklite...

My wife and I were bike riding through a marina parking lot near us, I look down and see a knife, blade open. Pick it up and it's a Buck lite - model 444 C which would make it a 1995. Fairly sharp too, looks used but quite service-able, locks up well, little to no blade side play.

My wife likes it a lot - lol. Not every day yah find a Buck collectable on the ground :)

LOL -- It's a little on the smaller side, but it would be a nice knife to throw in the pack. I'll have to ask to borrow it when I go camping.
 
Good find... I've had one of the 444's for a couple years. Its been a great knife.
Big enough for most daily stuff and disappears in the pocket.

She does Dave, and I did give it to her -- she likes Buck knives, she owns a 102 that I gave her as a gift :)

It's been a good week for Buck lites ;)
