I've loved the khukri for many years now and never seen a knife to outmatch it. I have one, a mass produced model styled after the M-43, and it's served me well over the last 5 or 6 years but you could tell it wasn't made for quality. So, when I stumbled on HI and their beautiful hand-forged khukris it felt like a dream come true. These knives certainly seem to be the best out there and, after reading through more reviews than I care to count, I decided I had to have one... or two.... I've ordered a CAK, which I'm looking forward to testing out in my extremely overgrown backyard, and just looking at all the pics posted on the forums and reading the reviews I can tell one probably won't be enough.

Hello leaotz and welcome to HI and the Forum. The CAK is an excellent khukuri and I'm sure that it will work well for you. You are correct in stating that one will not be enough, so keep an eye on your bank account as these are very addicting. Looking forward to your opinions of the CAK. Be well.

Leaotz,

Welcome to the ever-growing family of Nepalese's finest...Like stickfred said....you are seeing the top of iceberg only.
May you enjoy the company of many fun and khuk-loving lads..

Welcome to the forum & you will definitely enjoy your cak. I'm in hikv rehab at the moment, only because of my finances. I got 3 large khukuri, a little bilton & an Indonesian sword. Waiting on my Gelbu & Astk to come back from Okuden with there new custom Kydex sheaths

Post pictures of these sheaths when you get them back, if possible.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'll definitely have to post after I get a chance to try out the CAK.
