very nice!

I like the filework. Too bad it couldn't have been angled the same direction that the grain ended up being. That would have been spectacular.

Still - a beautiful knife and well done.

(helps to have a good photo too. :D)

Very nice. How 'bout some stats? For a start, what kind of wood is that handle made from? It's GOURGEOUS!

Nice Job!

All the best,
Mike U.

The wood is a piece of dyed maple burl (Green and purple) there are tiny hints of purple that show through.. it's hard to show in the picture. but the grain almost looks like it shines from within.. I got it down to a nice 2500 grit..

The pins are stainless tubing..

The blade is a standard 440C blank that I picked up from Shieffield..

Nice little fellow. Against that great background and those little turn-of-the-century Chinese coins, the knife takes on another dimension in visual presentation. :)

Geat knife -- I love that handle! I recognize those stones and coins -- it looks like someone else's girlfriend/wife shops at Pier 1 too. :D

:O who said it was my wife??? lol.. I liked the scent of the candles.. plus I have a chinese "theme" on one of my shelfs that it sits on..
