It was new no box and I was hoping it was BG42 but turned out to be S30V.Still good though.I did not see very many older Sebenzas there at all.
It also gave me a chance to use a cool color changing mood bead on the lanyard.

Yes,there are private sellers with tables and many dealers with new old stock.

It is a large,got it for 400.00 out the door.I don't think I would let it go for that.

I saw that one but didn't get the pice on it. That was a deal for a large and with a stone as well. I ended up with a small 21 with sea grass handle from the Reeve booth for the same price.

Hello, u showed me your find in front of a guys used stuff. I didnt git to look at it really good but the pictures are fanominal. I ended up with that small sebenza. i got a good deal it think. Inside it says " A 02" what does it mean?

The A 02 means the scales were made in the first quarter of 2002.If the blade does not have an S stamped near the pivot hole then it would be BG42 blade steel.
Just looked and mine is a C 06

I tried to get that same knife from Only Fine Knives this past winter. They

had it on their website...Shannon said hed hold it for me. I called the next

day. The website wasnt the knife inside the box marked website on the

outside. Shannon looked thru the other large reg. boxes to try find a

large website like the 1 you bought. $400 is a Good price for that knife as hard as

hard as they are to find.
