... I found the holy grail of Buck production knives.
The only and genuine Buck Nemo. All the Nemo before could convert
to a Frontiersman if you put it into a fitting leather sheath. But not this one.
It is the only Nemo that has the Nemo Number 122 on the Ricasso.
Im really proud of it. Thanks a lot for viewing.

didn't know that existed. great find. well done and a very nice clean and new looking example on top of it all. congrats and enjoy 'er.

Great score Herbert. A very hard one to find for sure. I will trade you a dark green 425 for it.
:) :) :) :)
Thank you, Ged. Trading is a good idea. But I think I have another good and small one for you to trade for the dark green 425. what do you think?

Very nice find. Great condition too.

I wonder if all the true 122 Nemos had the seration?
Yes, Eveled, as I know all the three line 122 have serrations. Buy Skyler says no. The older ones: some have, some not. Some have a lanyard hole, some not. There is no rule if the knife is a Nemo or not. That depends only on the sheath.

Maybe the 2022 legacy collection will have a 122 Nemo with the serrations and a new rubber sheath.
May be, let’s see. The last “Nemo”, 25 made for the BCCI anniversary meeting 2008, had a 124 stamp and a leather sheath. The only thing: it had a phenolic handle and serrations.
