I recently found a fixed blade knife, it's very corroded and can't see any makers marks on the blade it has a wooden handle and part of the handle is broken, how can I find the maker and determin the age? I appreciate any feedback you can give me

A few clear pictures would surly help, especially in the condition you described.

If it's rusted, go by Harbor Freight and pick up some Evaporust.

Place it tip down in a tall glass, fill it up to just under the guard. You might have to leave it in for 24+ hours, depending on the amount of rust.

If you can see a logo or name, post it here, someone is bound to know. Posting a picture of the knife, might help in getting it identified.
