Nice centered blade which I demand from a high end quality piece.
I'd like to say I demand it too, but my new (to me, but also in LNIB condition) Mnandi arrived with an off-center blade. But what can a guy do? Either steam about it and start an ultimately useless thread to vent a bit, or simply accept it. But still, I'm tempted to interject whenever someone mentions that centered blades are a given with CRK's. Especially in those, "Is it worth it?" posts and reviews: "So why do I need a $400 knife? Because I demand excellence and precision, and with a CRK I have peace of mind knowing the blade will be dead centered and free of blade play."

With more and more people speaking out lately, hopefully we all know that isn't the case.
I found two small discoloration marks and I'm wondering if BG42 is rust prone?
My Mnandi is S30V, not BG-42, but I too found a spot that I think might be rust or possibly even corrosion

. It is hidden under the handle scale, on the tang just outside of the washer's circumference. It won't buff out, so I just treated it with some Tuf-Glide and now I'm hoping for the best. I suggest you do the same... try to buff then treat it with something to slow down its progression.
I really like my Mnandi. Its size, blade shape, blade thickness, weight... everything about it is sweet. Except the off-center blade and the rust(?) spot. I think it sucks hard having to put up with stuff like this on a $350 (more for yours, I'm sure) knife.
