Found my Kershaw Voodoo lost during Katrina

Hey everyone,

I found my Kershaw Voodoo that I lost during Hurricane Katrina. It was covered by mud in my yard and I found it digging a hole. Its actually in pretty good condition considering what it went through. I've cleaned it up fairly well, but the assisted opening mechanism is broke and the rubber inserts are missing. There is still some rust I can't get off, but I think its just stain mostly. Do you think, if I send it back, Kershaw would repair the assisted opening and replace the rubber inserts?
 
Send it back, Kershaw has the greatest customer service. Be sure to tell them your story!!!!
 
Send it back with the story of what happened to it. Talking to a Kershaw CS rep a while back, she told me the techs like to read what happens to the knives they repair. I'll betcha it'll be like new when it comes back.
 
I wish you would have taken some pics of it before and after the clean up. That would have been cool to see.....glad you found it.

Yup, by all means, send it in to Kershaw...They'll do their best to make it just like new again.

BTW...I lived in Gulfport, MS back in the early 80's for a couple years. From what I understand, Gulfport/Biloxi looks NOTHING like it did back then...(I'm talking about pre-Katrina.). I SURE do miss the Mississippi gulf-coast food!.:thumbup:.

I think you're right. I Googled "Kershaw Voodoo", and only the CRKT folder came up. It looks like he'll have to send this one to CRKT.

Dang, I can't believe that this one got by Thomas W.:D.:D.
