Found my new addiction, with one complaint:

There is absolutely NO WAY I am going to be able to get by with just ONE Hinderer.

I've owned my first, a 3.5" XM-18 Spanto Flipper, that happens to be bronze anodized w/ a blue-black scale and bronze standoffs, for all of maybe a week.

(apologies for the crappy iphone pics, it might be time to break out the good camera..)

I've already found it necessary to acquire a smooth CF scale, which I think looks awesome with the bronze, and have a textured CF on the way. Oh yeah, I also have a marsh green scale inbound as well.

Not to mention, I have a 3" XM-18 w/ blue waiting for me to make a trip to the local knife shop and hand over funds - for which I already have a 2-tone Ti/Bronze frag scale to swap out.

I'm on leave until Friday, yet I find myself tempted to drive into work to check my .mil email to see if my note to Rob will pan out for another....(hoping for a slicer w/ Pond).

To top it all off, you guys with your Wharncliffs are tempting me to sell body parts to find one and I'm already looking at the calendar for Blade '14 to try my luck at a lottery....

This is not going to end well.

A fimiliar story told or experienced by many. Differs in details, but rings true.

Bad news is: pond is likely not going to happen, but never hurts to ask.

A taste of what's to come for you..... :D

AZ2AK nice start, there are worst addictions than owning a few Hinderers! Good luck on the Pond Scum, I have one and love it.

LW " a girl with too many knives". I don't think so, just a nice collection of Hinderers, however, I bet there is quite a few "others" in the stable. My wife asks me "how many knives do you own" my response is " I don't know" I've slowed down on my 40 year obsession with Randall's, now it's Hinderers, both knives have uncompromising overbuilt quality with men whose values mirror my own.
