Found my Old Timer Trapper

Friday I was digging through my tool box when I found a Schrade Old Timer 940T Trapper. I had gotten it 25+ years ago and lost track of it. The great thing about finding it is that I have been starting to carry traditionals more often. One more to add to the rotation. The edge is still sharp enough to easily slice through printer paper.

Nice find! I have a barehead Old Timer trapper with the tweezers and steel pick that I like a lot. That old carbon steel really takes and holds a fine edge, and the whole thing is just very solidly done. I think I'll carry mine tomorrow.

How nice is that, Ric? Finding an old knife that you used to use and carry after a long absence is like running into an old girlfriend you actually wanted to see.

But unlike some of those old girlfriends, with any luck your knife hasn't changed much 25 years later!
