My dad recently passed away in Mexico and while going through his things I found what looks to be a very old 8" dagger with a belt protective sleeve. It has an arrow stamped on it.

Does it look like this?

Not the arrow we were hoping for. Neat old knife, but not anything military issued. Possibly homemade or made by a small shop.

Any belt loop on the sheath? If not it probably is meant to be tucked into a sash. It looks South America Cowboy to me. Like a Gaucho knife.

L Legendary_Jarl no, it came that way. It's technically "sharp" as in it may cut, but not well. It's more of a sticker anyway.

As to the OP's knife, I have no clue other than to say I'd wager it's got a Latin American flare to it. I wager Jarl got it right.
