Found old kitchen knife at a show today

Came across this one at a Sportsman's Show at a local Fish and Game club today. Says C. Schwarte Solingen Made In W. Germany.

Tracked down the maker here: http://www.carl-schwarte.de. Looks like they have been making knives since 1910, focus on industrial and professional knives and are still operating. So no idea how old it is.But wondering if it is pre 1990 since it says Made in W. Germany instead of just Made in Germany.

I will clean it up and turn it loose on my kitchen cutting tasks to see how it works.

Its pre-89-91 from the W. Germany mark.

Tried it out today on some vegetables while making a casserole for supper. I was very pleased with it. Fit my hand amazingly well. My second favourite of all my knives after the custom knife I had made.
