Found this Case

at a garage sale for 50 cents then gave it a little TLC.

You got a bargain and you did a nice job of cleaning her up and re-contouring the broken tip.

If it were mine, given the blade condition, I might be tempted to force patina back on the blades of that one.

Nice job! :thumbup::)

Woo, nice save on that one. Looks good as new now!

Thanks guys! And she's scalpel sharp now too. Good idea on the forced patina. Gonna go a cut up some lemons now! :)

Great looking knife :)

Dang - why don´t I find such gems 0.5 US-$ or 0.5 € on fleamarkets around :grumpy:

Wow, good find and great job with bringing it back to life and reprofiling the blade. Thanks for sharing that.

Real diamond in the rough there! Awesome job, gave that blade a whole new life, use it well.

Thanks again, all. :) It didn't take much given the quality of the components and the Case build quality. 20 minutes tops and she was good to go.

Amazing job! You should go back and show those people what they sold for a couple of quarters. Not in a vindictive way, but in a "Hey, thanks" kinda way. I'd sure like to know that somebody turned something that I pulled out of my junk drawer into that beautiful knife.
