Found Tigershark SK5 for about 150 Euros.Should I buy it?

Hi

Well, i live in a medium sized city in Greece and i found in an old gun store a Sog Tigershark SK5. You know, the first and as far as i know collectible one. The guy must have had the knife for over 10 years now. He said he wanted about 150 Euros for the knife. Its in pretty good shape, only flaw i saw was that it had some minor rust spots,since he probably oiled the blade last time 10 years ago. Should go away with a good cleaning and polishing. What do you guys think? Is it worth buying it? Im pretty sure that i can get the price down to about 100 Euros with some luck. You know, hard times in Greece and all that crap, so 100 Euros is a lot of money for an "old" knife.

Does it have a leather sheath? Does it have SMCA or EMDA under the SOG emblem on the BLADE? does it have SMCA or EMDA on the sheath??

If the blade has its factory edge and it has the SMCA or EMDA on the leather sheath.. I would pay the 150EUROS or 200USD
 
Yeah, the leather sheath and smca on the blade. i am not sure about the factory edge though, but i think so.

Send me the address of the seller...I will buy it for 100 Euros (about $135 US Dollars.) With the SMCA under the logo, leather sheath, and possible factory edge...yeah, it sounds like a good deal to me. I do not have a Tigershark in my collection so it would be a nice find for me. If I was that lucky.

Sounds like you stuck gold on this one.

thats mighty nice of you, offering yourself to buy it, but i think ill have to keep this one myself:) Oh, by the way, i think i saw some other out of production knives that he had sitting around for ages. i think some beckers and kabars. will take a look at these also. thank you for your input D1 !
