Foundry & PITS

Today, I got an email from a discount drop site (don't want to mention names, but I'm sure many of you know the site) about the PITS being in a drop. IMHO the PITS is a gorgeous knife, but I think it's a bit more than I want to spend on a slipjoint. In doing a little research, I stumbled upon the Foundry, which I had forgotten about. I'm really liking the Foundry design, and I'm already a fan of CTS-XHP. I am still considering the PITS as well, as I believe it has decent "lock-up" for a slipjoint.
Does anyone own one or both of these knives who can throw in a review? There aren't many reviews for either knife yet, so any opinions or insight would be much appreciated.

I was just thinking the same thing about the PITS, so I did a search and found your question here. Not sure what a drop is though. No replies - does anyone have a PITS that they can comment on? I also find it curious that the "guard" protrudes out the back when closed. I know that it is too short to act as a flipper. I like the look and design, but there is no brick and mortar in my area to play with one. Can anyone help?

I like both of these knives, but both are too rich for my blood. Also I still do not get with Foundry a knife with SS scales cost $200. Without of doubts if you are fan of Carpenter, than it worth for you.
