Nice BAS, I don't have one of those yet.

Nice WWII too. I got one but being RR Amtrak, I've preserving it.

All nice as usual.

Very nice offerings.
Half tempted by that ww2.

Wonder how long before someone snags that Tirtha - not many of those left

very nice , exceptional knives today, would be tempted by the ww 2 and BAS , but really want new guys to get a chance at a deal-- if this stuff lasts the day, beware , this shark will attack ! -- darth sending mental batsignal now

That WW II, but will swim on by today. I like that BAS too, but I already got one, and it is definately one of my favorites.

Come and get them!

Batsignal recieved. I only have 35 bucks for Khuk cash at the moment, I'll wait until a KLVUK goes on sale anyways.

sending ems for ww2 ?, darth you pay half now ill pay other half and you can just pay me back when you get the other 50 bucks offer is there ! a HI starter knife loan-- otherwise its still up for grabs , I am just trying to get a knife to this man! ( if you want kvluk i understadn they are great knives too)-- just saying if you want it email yangdu, she knows I will pay

Gehazi - folks almost never have friends as good as you. Thank you for being on this forum and helping others with the virus.

Its so I feel better about my own shameful addiction ,its pure selfishness :D

Thank you a lot Gehazi, but maybe another time. I think I'll wait a bit, peruse my other options of HI khukuris before I impulse buy. It really hurts.

Hey Darth if you are set on a KLVUK you might want to email Yangdu and see if any are available. She might have one around that didn't sell on a previous DOTD.

phiiiiiillll , always with your sense talking-- well I am perfectly fine with nobody taking this, because if that ww2 is here at the end of the day its mine

I cant wait till you get a 25" either JW! Id love to hear your review. Mine gets almost daily use. Great in the bush close to home and heavy enough that I dont have to worry about hitting something hidden in the bush.
I'm holding out for a 25" sirupati bit that chit is tempting.
Ive never seen a fullerless Chitlangi? Interesting! A little extra forward weight might make some interesting wacking.

Loving the WWII, great size, looks like a capable chopper - been holding out for an AK, but that is a great deal. What goes into that handle repair?

Im def willing to pass to mcat, I was just going to wrap it in cord , I dont think its going to affect its function much, otherwise just hoof polish, i think you can get an acra glass epoxy too

Appreciate the offer, and don't want to put you out - didn't see your ems was on both. Very cool of you though.

If you're asking how to fix the crack, it's really easy. There are lots of threads that discuss it, but perhaps the simplest method is to fill the crack with a thick, slow-setting epoxy.

I would use blue painter's tape along the edges to keep the epoxy inside the crack. Press the epoxy into the crack with a straight-edged piece of plastic or wood. That gets it in deep. Add more epoxy if necessary so it's level with or slightly higher than the surface. Peel off the tape before the epoxy sets enough to grab it. Later on, when the epoxy is completely cured, level it off and polish it with sandpaper.

There are some other little tricks to make sure the color matches, but maybe someone else can point you to a thread that goes into more detail.

Wrapping the handle with paracord, as Gehazi suggests, would be easier, but depends on how big your hands are: it might make the handle too thick. When you have the knife in hand you can test that easily enough before you commit to it.
