Think I'm going to pass on this Dui Chirra, it's beautiful and I desperately want a Thamar but last sharking event I took part in taught me patience, going to wait for a 24 or 25 oz Thamar Dui Chirra. Congrts on whoever gets any of these, they are all beautiful.

Nice snag, it's a steal for a yuvraj!

Well I was late to the party but I've been lookin for an M-43 just like that for months now. I emailed Auntie anyways just to make sure there isn't another. Fingers crossed!

Redneck, a 15" BAS was my first HI khuk and still one of my favorites. I gave that blade to one of my best friends for Xmas. The one thing I didn't love was the horn handle (personal preference), but the length and weight were pretty ideal. Been looking for a perfect "replacement" blade for that one.

Pretty excited about the villager M43! Never heard of Yuvraj, anyone know anything about this Kami? Looks like pretty nice work...

I believe he is the youngest brother of Kumar and Sher. His work is exceptional, just like his bros, but his almost seem like liquid metal.

The villager style isn't as polished, but some like the brushed satin look, I know I do.

I have quite a few of his pieces, and they are by far and away, some of my favorites.

I loved the little Sirupati and the M43. Both beast and beauty. Some flaws? Who cares, we all have some.

Thanks Cul! I just love the dark wood with white metal fittings. Blades - I like satin and polished, although I think the satin is just a little more utilitarian. Been waiting for an M43 for awhile. Got lucky today! Cheers

Best of luck my friend.

Deals like those go mighty fast!!!

Just grab the next one for me bro! Haha always beatin me (and everyone else..) to the punch.

Mateos, I had one of Cul's Yuvraj pieces for a while for the sheath project, and it's probably one of my favorites I've seen. Beautiful fit & finish, and feels superb in hand. I'm sure you'll love the M-43, and if not, well, I think I know where you can send it ;) Nice snag man.

Unfortunately Auntie didn't have any more, so I'll have to keep my gaurd up.

Just got the 15 inch 29 ounce villager fit and finish M-43 by Yuvraj in the mail.

I was a little freaked out when it arrived because a piece of slightly rounded metal was poking thru the end of the triangle box. Oh crud, was the tip of the blade broken or rounded off (the blem didn't come with a sheath...)? Nope - Auntie had found a sheath - and it was the metal sheath cap I was seeing! Blade and sheath were great - no damage whatsoever! :)

This could be my favorite HI knife to date. The wood on the handle is beautiful, dark, with nice grain. If this is a blem, it is barely so.... I was very pleased to see that the handle was nice and beefy and fit well in the hand. Some of my HI knives near this size but lighter have smaller handles. This is OK with something like a KLVUK which is pretty light for its length, but the Kamis know what they are doing and this knife has the perfect grip for its heavier weight. Yangdu if your father reworked this grip, he did a great job - thanks to him!

Just thrilled - I even got a sheath... My wife doesn't quite understand my love of these knives. But my son is playing with his little trains right now. I make train tunnels out of the triangle boxes for him. The more knives I get, the longer the tunnel! It's good to know that I'm not the only one that gets excited when a triangle box comes in the mail!

Cheers,
Mateos
