This is the same pic of the villager I purchased 7/7?

Yup, looks like the same picture. The description is different. Perhaps they are close enough Auntie used the photo on hand or maybe she's super busy as usual and goofed.

Wish I could grab this one so we could compare notes when you get yours but I gotta leave it for the other sharks.
I'm just a dog fish for awhile.

A lot of chainpuri these days. I'm always so impressed that they can make superb knives, but also such great leather and woodwork.

nobody makes a Kobra like Kumar. I have a 25" 32oz monster that would cleave through chainmail.

Thanks Brogan! I have been looking at the Kobra and the Sirupati for awhile, and seeing a blem sealed the deal for me...But we all know I'll still be buying a Sirupati in the future ;) lol

Dang I forgot about Ndog! Where's he at anyhow. That's the missing link. He'll be sad but he's scored some really nice sharp pointy things lately so while he's sad he's also glad.
Maybe I should of been a poet.

Oh man! Where was I? Thats the 12.5" one we were talking about! Thats the missing genome in my family tree. Grats sno! You missed a Bonecutter and I missed a 12" AKB? Are we getting complacent or what? That Kobra is nice!

Unfortunatly a silent shark snatched it before me. I got the sad "long gone" reply from Auntie :-(

I notice a lot of the Chainpuris seem to have loose sheaths, is that due to the blade channel opening up as the wood experiences shrinkage in the drier climate here in the US?

they do have to go through a major desert environment in reno, and it is made in a relatively moist environ I think-- so thats why you see lots of "flawed" dotd as shrinkage affects stock and auntie does not abide flawed items.

Hey guys, jus wondering what the protocol is on buying khukuris that are posted here and roughly how often they are posted. Cheers :)
