That WWII looks to be the perfect size and weight for me. Alas, I don't have the funds. :( Hope someone gives it a good home.

That WWII looks very balanced. Are proportionally long handles a regular WWII feature?

It seems that way to be, especially since all the ones that I've ever held (3 or 4) have all had plenty of handle for us Western guys.

Dang! That perfect WWII is still there taunting me.

farm knife for $100? I don't care what kind of rust is on it for that price, email sent.

Maybe a good excuse to polish the whole thing.

Darn, sometimes I wished in the USA. Even if I stayed up alnight to shark a deal, I still need to have a local Police Authority form for an " prohibited import", and then permission to import from the Federal Minister (or Customs). Small wonder that Aussies do not figure in these invitations to purchase. Insert unhapppy emoticon. Hoo roo, Mike.

Mike,
I think you need to check your laws more thouroughly. We have quite a few Friends from Oz, who seem to get their purchases just fine. See also this link:

Karda is right Mike, all of my purchases from HI have gotten through, no problems. I've never had to apply for a permit. However, we are still a little restricted in our purchases, like no double-edged bladeware.

G,day Karda, and 7rip13a, many thanks for your replies. I was under the impression that State and Federal law in Aus required specific sets of forms. My view was formed after consulting local Police, re importation of edged weapons. Thanks for the assurances, otherwise. Thank you for the Forum, as my only reason for joining Bladeforums was to read and learn more about khukris, and thus HI. I honour Uncle Bills legacy, and the continuing work of Aunty Yangdu. Hoo Roo, Mike.
