What does the abbreviation "EMs" mean in the post by Longhorn Gary mean?

Probably means EMail Sent. The caps key got stuck on the S.

If you're new to the forum: You have to send an email to Yangdu (and be the first emailer) to get a DOTD. Posting here in the forum is more of a courtesy, so other people know that the blade is spoken for.

jurisrookie, posting "I want it" on a Deal of the Day won't cut it. :)
Read this http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/735020-Ordering-amp-Shipping-Information

You need to send an EM (email) to Auntie Yangdu to claim your choice.

1 - Your Full Name (doesn't hurt to add BF user name)
2 - Payment method & amount (don't forget to add shipping)
3 - Shipping Address
4 - Knife wanted (copy and paste name of item & specify date of DotD)

even if you miss this one though remember they come around, so don't hesitate to send the email if you want it !(if you miss one you miss one, good deals come back)

I generally just email auntie straight away. Tell her who I am and what I want. I just ask in the initial email to let me know what the total is including shipping and to let me know if it's mine or not. Then I come here an let everyone know that I want it. Even that is no assurance until Auntie responds. Some email her and don't post here so they are gone and nobody knows where and sometimes that's less painful and perhaps keeps us less jealous of one another.
Then when I get the response I send the payment (including shipping and a donation if I can which seems to be rare).

Auntie is quick usually getting back to me and letting me know.

Man I should have looked earlier. The Siru and CAK were great deals, congrats to whoever.

I never seen nothing like that Karate. Just when I think I'm getting a handle on these things they throw me a different handle. Kind of different, nice looking thing for sure.

I'm hoping I scored the siru. I put a post in with my mobile and it didn't go through, but we emailed.
Hoping I won it, I did send payment :)

One of my dream kuks.
