This is a lovely and value-priced Tarwar today. But I think the OAL might be 29 3/4" instead of 19 3/4" or is it just my imagination?

That Kobra is very tempting! Think I'll wait on a Siru the same size. That fact that I don't have the money right now don't help much either.:(

Wow, I'd be all over that Kobra if I had the cash. Incredibly neat blades:)

I have a 24 oz horn siru by tirtha and a 17 oz wood siru by raj. Both are great choppers. The 17 inch is really light but the weight is heavier towards the top of the blade. I might have to pull the trigger on the kobra.. my 17 oz siru needs a partner for the left hand. Someone better save me from myself.

Thanks all for saving me from that Tarwar and Kobra. Of course, now I'm thinking of a double-fullered (dui chirra, right?) tarwar... Need something that's almost as fast as a waki, but with a bit more chopping power... Got the HI bug GOOD.

-edit- or even better, an HI waki...

Was out doing yardwork...cutting back palm trees and bushes that had grown 8" in the past three rain soaked days when the mailman pulled up with a wonderfully triangle-shaped box carrying my new WWII model... My 1st full sized one & what a beauty it is! Shame I hacked everything back already!
