Greetings everyone,

Here are some knives and sheaths that I recently completed.

The first one is a 15N20 EDC with stabilized Bocote handle.

Next is a 5160 Wharncliffe with stabilized Lignum Vitae.

Then I have a small 5160 and black G10 EDC. The top of the blade and the handle area are blued.

Lastly, I have a small 5160 knife that my kids like to use for carving walking sticks and such. The handle scales on this knife are stabilized Lignum Vitae, also.

Simple but well finished knives, and with very well made sheats...thank you for showing

Dig the lignum vitae, bud - rare to see it with that much character. How the hell did you manage to get that stuff stabilized?!?!??? I'm stunned it took, or that it even needed it!

Matt, I bought the wood from Woodcraft, and sent it out to Knife & Gun Finishing Supplies for the stabilization. They also stabilized some African Blackwood and Kingwood for me, which I have seen on people's lists of woods that supposedly can't be stabilized. K&G didn't say anything about the wood being a problem. They just did their thing and sent it back to me. I like to send my own wood out; that way I can re-saw it the way I want, to get a certain look. Like the Bocote, which I cut perpendicular to the grain.
