Here's two monumental Fisk projects which have taken place over the last two years. It's difficult enough to create two matching knives, thus demonstrating the complexity of these two projects. Notice the matching ivory, engraving/inlay and damascus patterns which are exclusive to this "Heritage Sets" project.

Beautiful Chuck Ward images.

Kevin,

Thanks for posting those great images.

Jerry did a suberb job of making two sets of great knives with unique blade patterns.

Very Cool Kevin, Amazing work 20 times over. Jerry must have the patience of Job.

Thanks for posting these,

Bill

Mamma mia Kevin.
If one knife from Jerry Fisk is amazing imagine a set of this knives. Absolutely wonderful. I am very inspired my work in amazing knives from Jerry. I think his work impeccable and all its knives inspire much respect!

WOW! I think I need a raise... Because I am going to go broke with this hobby/addiction. I really like his style of knife making, truly beautiful knives:)

Fantastic!!! Thanks for posting, Kevin.

Tried to pick the one knife from each set I'd select if I could have one. It is a really difficult task.

Dang!!!! Big ups to Jerry. Even after 5 years of trying, I still have trouble getting two knives to remotely resemble each other.:D

Very cool! The fixed-blade set is particularly attractive to my eyes.

Total awesomeness. My hat is off to both Jerry and his client. I feel priveleged just to have a peek at these impressive sets. The upcoming bowie set should be just spectacular. Good thing he had a big pair of tusks to start with - sourcing this much matching ivory would otherwise have been a real chore.

Though only 10 shown, actually 11 matched knives are made with the final going to the ABS Museum (Historic Arkansas Museum) in Little Rock. By the way, if ever in Little Rock do yourself a favor and drop by. http://www.historicarkansas.org/knife_gallery/
There's a 12th folder made for the Family Jeweler, however it's a little different from the family knives. This damascus pattern (notice the flames rising from the edge) is exclusive to the "Heritage Sets".

These "Heritage Sets" sets are commissioned by one of Jerry's clients and are due by Xmas eve each year. The knives are given as gifts to male members of the family. As Roger stated, Jerry is currently working on a set of Bowies which will exhaust the remainder of the mammoth tusks which were acquired specifically for this project.

Those are all just too lovely for words!!

I'd love to see one of the bowies.

an unbelievable accomplishment by a fantastic maker. And it's all for Christams presents. That is fantastic. His client is a very generous individual.
