Four more almost done!

Scout Boot. This one is a scaled down Scout, 8 1/2" overall, with a 4 1/4" blade of 5/32" O1. The scales are also thinner, in this case 1/4" black canvas micarta with red liners.

Fire Kit Knife. This is the knife part of my old Fire Kits, consisting of a knife with matching firestee. The knife is right about 4" overall, and this one has maple burl handles.

7" Hudson Bay with torched oak handles.

Improved Bowie in bloodwood with brass pins.

I can see an Olivewood Improved Bowie in my future.

Jeff

I see one in either mesquite, ironwood, or snakewood for me! I actually think this is one of the best "real" camp knives I offer, and to think, I made the first one on a whim.

Maybe it's the photos, but these look like works of art. That Firekit knife is so sweet. I just love compact knives that are big in usefulness. But then again the Hudson Bay with singed oak handles.... wow! Very useful art, but art nonetheless!
