to be honest, it looks cheap. might be personal taste of course, but thats how it looks to me. kershaw's CBs look like they are put together far better

agreed....

If you're looking for the CB tech., I'd recommend the kershaw.

I like the blade concept as far as materials goes. The Ti spine is something I have been waiting to see in a production knife. The rest of the knife reminds me of Dark Ops, as do many of their new designs. The mated area of the blades does not look as solid as the Kershaw CBs. There is no way to tell as information on how they are connected is not available on their website. It would be interesting if Kershaw would consider playing with the Ti spine configuration as I am sure they could do much better:D.

I liked the Volpe that Spyderco had Fox Cutlery design for them, but that was a collaboration. The design on their composite blade looks very much like a CB JYD II ripoff. Way too close in my opinion, but of course I'm not aware of the design timelines, so it could be coincidence. The color contrast is also a bit suspect.

Personally, I'll stick with my Kershaws.

Honestly I'm a big fan of Fox Cuttlery. They've made great knives for SigTac Sig Sauer knife line, and at least 4 (that I know of) for Browning (3 Eclipses & White River) they are all among my favorites. This italian knifemaker really knows how to heat treat N690, coating is top notch as well. I once left one of my Eclipses I EDC'd at the time in my friends gutter for few weeks (thought I lost it somewhere) during the rain season. Found it by accident and to my surprise after light wiping it was functioning (and still does) the same, if not better as the day I received it from the dealer. After seeing some of the designs which are produced under Fox Cutlery brand for military use in their catalog I'm still trying to find a US distributor who would carry the current product line.
