Does anybody know anything about these guys? I bought one of their knives a few years ago at a pawn shop. I think it cost about $35. The knife seems pretty nice, but I haven't really put it through to much yet. I believe the blade's made of 440B. I'm trying to post a pic from Fox's website, I don't know if this is going to work though. Any feedback you could give me regarding their products would be helpful, I'm considering purchasing another knife of theirs.

Their liner lock folders look identical to Delta Z's, whcih are also made in italy. Probabaly the same factory. I love my Delta Z's - very classy, high quality.

I have many of their knives, bought them when I started to get knife nut. All I can say is that they provide a lot of money for the knives they make. The steel is definately 440B which is a solid performer. It does for sure not hold the edge as long as my Roselli UHC knives, but that is a totally different league. And the Fox knives are really easy to sharpen. What I can say for sure is that they are very tough and that the quality of the workmanship on the better models is unusual good, fit and finish is very good. If someone is looking for knives with a good quality - price ratio, Fox can for sure be recommended. Oh,.........one thing I forgot to mention, the sheats for their fixed blades have a quality which you would expect from a 300 $ knife!

Thanks for the input RH and sniper66, I think I'll be purchasing one of their bowies next month.

fox is an italian company. the fixed blades and folding knives are pretty much ok, but not much more than that, don't expect performance and lifetime of the more expensive and better brands. and stay away from all the other stuff fox makes (otf's, axes.......they're no good, i got a double-bit battle axe and it's already has a rattling handle (it's alloy...with rivets) and a broken tip of one of the blades. i'm not a particular fan of Fox Colterria anyway.......
