Is anyone dying to get their hands on one of the new Fox Havoc folders? It's all I can do to count down the days until they start shipping out.

However, I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only Fox fan around here.

Any takers?

Believe me, you are not! Fox produces some of the best finished and designed knives that I have ever seen.

It'd be nice if they put real pictures instead of drawings up on their website, or did I miss them?

I'm not crazy about the blade style but if I had to pick one, I like the Benchmade Snody better because of the thumb ramp, I'm not crazy about the low profile thumb rest on the FOX.

My Fox made TOPS folder couldn't be better as far as fit and finish !!

I hear ya. The Spyderco Volpe was made by Fox and when I saw the fit and finish, I promptly ordered a second one. Custom quality fit and finish.

Didn't have time to link up some pictures when I put this up last night. These should help, though.

As far as weight and specs go, I imagine that it will be pretty similar to the 5.11 XPRT folder
4mm thick 3.75" long blade, 9" OAL, weight somewhere around 5.5 oz.
Obvious diference is that the Havoc will have a tanto point and a titanium framelock. Fox says that they are due to arrive and be ready for sale at the end of May. They've had some production delays and the wait is killing me. But I'm sure that they are doing the right thing in order to make these things turn out real nice.

I'm a big Fox fan. I used to live about 20min from Maniago where Fox and most other Italian knife companys are. The only industry in that town is knife making. It's like taking all of Oregon and cramming into a small picturesque Italian village at the foot of the Alps!

I saw a blurb on Fox knives a few months back in Blade magazine. They had a picture of the Havoc, and I immediately went on the hunt. Any idea of price on these?

I actually called Fox Knives USA and spoke to Mikey. He said that they'll probably be available via Blue Ridge Distribution at MSRP of $200. He also said that Fox will also set up an e-commerce site where you can order directly from them, but they're not gonna undercut their distributors. $200 is what he told me they'd cost no matter which way you go.

E-mail the Fox Knives USA sales department (contact them via their website) to get on their distro list of folks waiting for the Havoc and they'll be the first ones to let you know when they're available.

Let's keep the sales pitch out of the discussion forums. Stick to describing the knives themselves.

I'm sure it's a quality knife but I dont find much attractive about it other than the materials used.
