Hello Fellow blade lovers! I started this thread because there isnt an over abundance of useful info on Fox knives products available here yet. I was looking at scooping up these two folders earlier this week and had a hard time convincing myself since i hadnt heard much regarding their quality. Let me say IMHO I made a great choice by getting these knives and it was well worth the money.

The two models I have now are the FX-117 Nero and the Predator II with USMC seal both have N690co and are their military model products

Both are made tough, as soon as i put them in my hand it brought back memories of some ZTs i had and very much liked. The steel is thick and the action is buttery smooth. I like the profile design and the weight as it fits my large hand perfectly. Not too big for an EDC but just right to let you know your carrying some substantial steel in your pocket.Out of the box sharpness was ridiculous, cut right through a corrugated cardboard box ( containing more treasures;) ) like it was nothing.

Anyone who is interested in these knives needs to get one as i think they will be very impressed.

Let the pics do the talking!

I've always liked the Predator but I think they only come with coated blades. I just can't abide a coated blade. They do look nice though.

Fox makes amazing high quality knives. Only problem is they're not as heard of and seen in the US. I've had a couple and they are top notch, on par with the other high end production cos. this side of the water.

That top knife (FX-117) looks sweet, and it even has lefty clip drilling! How is the thickness of that one?

Went to their website. Some decent looking knives, to bad they use teflon coating I would rather not have any coating if they are going to use crap coatings. That being said they seem to have a good selection of stuff in a broad price range.

I measured the blade and it comes in at 5mm thick or .19 in inches. Which is pretty hefty for this folder. I like the teflon coating on these but if could always be stripped off if unwanted. For an unassisted knife that is not a flipper it opens quick and smooth with a simple flick of the wrist.
